Highly durable and flexible solvent based Dulux Trade Yacht Varnish protects and decorates exterior woodwork. It contains UV filters to protect against strong sunlight and its high build full gloss finish give up to 3 years weather shield protection when used in accordance with instructions. Suitable for hardwoods and softwoods.

Preparation
To get the best results, ensure surfaces to be painted are sound, clean and dry.
- Remove any loose or defective coatings and previous paintwork, if necessary strip back to bare wood.
- Thoroughly rub down the surface in the direction of the grain to remove any grey or weathered wood.
- Prime all bare wood with 1 coat of , including any new or bare replacement beading. Excess primer should be wiped off surrounding paintwork.
- Prime any bare metal with 1 coat of .
- Fill any surface defects, open joints etc. and replace any missing glazing material.
Application
Always follow the manufacturers instructions found on the tin, it is recommended that a small test area is applied before painting the entire surface to ensure compatibility.
- Stir thoroughly before you begin. Do not thin.
- After suitable prep and sealing, in the case of bare wood, apply 2-3 coats of Dulux Trade Yacht Varnish with a brush.
