Overview

Dulux Trade Mouldshield Fungicidal Eggshell inhibits the growth of fungi and mould inside. Tested to BS 3000 Part G6, its special fungicide and broad spectrum of antifungal activity makes it ideal for most interior walls and ceilings likely be affected by mould. This Eggshell is better suited to kitchens and bathrooms than the Matt. Do not use externally.

Tinted Colour Information

Tinted paint is custom mixed in house at Next Day Paint using our Dulux tinting machine. We mix the paint on site, which means we can offer our usual fast delivery with no extra delay. Tinted Colour Match paints can't be cancelled or returned as they are tinted to order.

Preparation

For best results, make sure surfaces to be painted are sound, clean, dry and free from all defective or poorly adhering material such as dirt, grease or wax.

Remove and treat any mould, algae, lichen or moss with .
Rub down previously painted surfaces thoroughly and wipe off with a damp, lint free cloth. Pre-1960s paint surfaces over wood and metal may contain harmful lead, so special precautions should be taken.
Treat knots with an appropriate knotting solution.
New or bare surfaces should be primed with an appropriate primer.
Any surface defects should be filled with the appropriate filler.

Application

Stir thoroughly before, we recommend to perform a test patch to ensure you are happy with the finished results.

Apply with a brush or roller only. Do not spray.
Generally, it is necessary to apply 2 full coats of Dulux Trade Mouldshield Fungicidal Eggshell, however on previously painted surfaces in good condition, where similar colours are used, 1 coat may be enough.
When applying water-based paints to surfaces previously decorated with a conventional solvent- based paint, very thorough surface preparation will be required.
